Our Mission
We Are Rebuilding the World's Coastlines.
RED WHITE & BLACK was founded on a single conviction: the technology to restore mangrove ecosystems at scale already exists, it just needed to be engineered. We built that engineering.
Our Mission
To restore mangrove ecosystems at global scale by deploying patented Wet Soil Nursery System pods on sea walls worldwide, and to make that restoration ownable, nameable, and verifiable by the corporations, governments, families, and individuals who fund it.
The Origin
A Problem That Demanded a Solution
Mangroves are disappearing at a rate that outpaces almost every other ecosystem on earth. The science on their value is well-documented: carbon sequestration, coastal protection, marine habitat, storm surge defense. The problem was never awareness. The problem was establishment.
Open-shore planting fails more than half the time. Propagules are swept away by tides and wave action before root systems can form. Restoration efforts pour resources into a method that the ocean itself defeats. RED WHITE & BLACK was founded to solve that specific, tractable problem: not with advocacy, but with engineering.
The result is the Wet Soil Nursery System: a patented platform that mounts directly on sea walls, holds propagules in wet soil through the critical establishment window, and transfers established seedlings to the shoreline once root systems are strong enough to survive. It is designed to work where open-shore planting fails.
The Patent
Patented Technology. Engineered Method.
The Wet Soil Nursery System is a patented invention: not a concept, not a pilot program, but a protected, engineered solution to the open-shore planting failure problem that has stalled mangrove restoration for decades.
The patent covers the pod design, the mounting system for sea wall deployment, and the propagule cultivation method that addresses the establishment failure rate of open-shore planting. It is the foundation on which every pod deployment is built.
US Patent 12,484,491. Deployment-ready. Designed for sea walls on coastlines worldwide.
What We Believe
The Principles Behind the Blueprint
Engineering Over Advocacy
We believe the environment is best served by solving problems, not describing them. The patented Wet Soil Nursery System exists because we chose to build a solution rather than raise awareness of a crisis.
Ownership Over Donation
We believe restoration is more durable when it is owned. Named pods, verifiable impact, pathway to carbon credit eligibility: these are not marketing features. They are the accountability structure that sustains long-term commitment.
Scale Over Symbolism
A single pod matters. A thousand pods matter more. We are building the systems that make global-scale restoration achievable, not aspirational: ownership, leasing, deployment, verification.
Science as Foundation
Every claim we make about mangrove ecology, carbon sequestration, and coastal protection is grounded in peer-reviewed science. The urgency is real. The data is real. The solution is real.
The Vision
Every Sea Wall. Every Coastline. Every Ocean.
There are hundreds of thousands of kilometers of sea walls on coastlines around the world. Every one of them is a potential deployment surface. Every one of them sits adjacent to a coastline that once supported mangrove ecosystems, and could again.
The vision of RED WHITE & BLACK is not incremental restoration. It is systemic restoration: pods deployed at scale on sea walls globally, turning the infrastructure of coastal development into the infrastructure of coastal recovery.
We are building the ownership and leasing model that makes this possible: corporations and governments funding large-scale deployments, families and individuals owning named pods, carbon credit programs generating the financial returns that sustain the work. The blueprint exists. The technology is patented.

The Blueprint Is Ready. The Coastlines Are Waiting.
